How to make an Event ticket selling website from scratch? 

First, we need to install a theme that will match our event ticket selling website.

But for now we will use a free theme that is used mainly for event website.

 

Go to Appearance -> Themes.

 

 

Click Add New Themes button and type Astra in the theme Search.

 

 

Now install and activate the theme. 

 

After activating the theme, it will prompt you to install Starter Templates.

 

 

Simply install Starter templates and activate it.

 

 

Select Page Builder as the Elementor.

 

 

Now type in the template search Event Management.

 

 

Choose a free template and click skip & Continue and again Continue.

Type your Event Title and Details and select your category and organizer.

 

Then down below, we have more options.

 

First, we need to set up the venue, for that choose the Venue/Location option.

 

 

You can toggle your venue to either live or virtual and depending on that you need to choose your location source.

 

If it is live, choose the organizer and check the show Google Map.

 

Therefore, it will display the location details of Organizer.

 

Then go to Ticket & Selling option.

 

 

You can toggle to on / off registration.

 

Also, you can toggle the advanced column to show the ticket selling date and time.

 

Then Add Ticket details by filling up the fields for Adults with price, capacity, default quantity, reserve quantity, Sale end date, sale end time, and qty box.

 

Similar way you can add another ticket type by clicking the button.

 

If you want to sell something extra you can add it by clicking the Add extra price button.

 

Now, select the option Date & Time.

 

 

Fill out your event start date, start time, end date, and end time.

 

You can enable the date format, time format, and timezone from the toggle option.

 

Then go to the Settings option

 

 

Type SKU No and then enable display end time and available seats.

 

Then click on the Rich text option to set your schema, which plays a role in SEO.

 

 

Now write an email to all your attendees from the Email Text option.

 

 

Then add the F.A.Q. by giving the title and description for each question.

 

 

Finally, add the Timeline details of your event.

 

 

After completing all the options, click the publish button.

Now copy the shortcode to display your event in any of the page sections of the website.

 

 

To do that, click the button edit with Elementor from the top of the page you want.
