WooCommerce is an open-source plugin for WordPress, installing this plugin you can easily create a shopping cart system. In fact, WooCommerce is one of the most popular plugins that can help you to create an online payment system. The steps below show the process of installing WooCommerce plugin-

  1. Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Go to the “Plugin” option
  3. From the dropdown list click on “Add New”
  4. From Search input box search for “WooCommerce”
  5. Now click on the “Install Now” button.
  6. Once you are done installing click on “Active Now”

Step 4: Creating & Configuring an Event booking system.


Once you have done installing both WooCommerce & Event Manager Plugin, now you can easily create an events booking system from your WordPress dashboard. Here is the process of configuring & creating an event booking system ­–

  1. From WordPress dashboard click on “Events”
  2. From the drop-down list click on “Add New Event” to open the event page.
  3. At first input section add “Events Name”
  4. At 2nd input section, adds event description
  5. At the 3rd section, you can add event venue details such as location, street, city, state, postcode country and synchronize google map.
  6. To add extra service to the events, click on the “Add Extra Price” button and configure it with- extra service name, price, and quantity.
  7. To add event ticket type and pricing click on the “Add New Ticket Type” button. Here you can add “Ticket Type Name”, ticket price, available quantity, and reserve quantity.
  8. From “Event Date and Time Section” you can add event start date and event date.
  9. From the “Event Email Text” section you can add confirmation mail text.
  10. To add event FAQ, click on “Add New FAQ” and add FAQ questions & Answers
  11. You can also add event day-wise details by clicking on “Add New Day”
  12. To set event featured image click on “Set Event Featured Image” from the right sidebar & upload images from your computer.
  13. Once you are done configuring with all necessary information click on the “Publish” button to publish the event.

It is very simple to create an event booking system with “WooCommerce Event manager”. Now anyone can buy event tickets directly from your website. However, you can also add some more advanced functionality to your events by installing pro-add-ons such as form builder, pdf ticket manager, and QR code.
